Do an 18 x 24 drawing of a hand or foot focusing on the planes like we did in the class figure studies.

For Wednesday, take what was discussed with your composition sketches and and improve them making four additional studies.

Homework #3

In a 3 x 3 inch square shade from empty paper to as dark as you can make the square. You should use the method of shading that referred to as circular shading in the links below. Please review these prior to completing the homework. This is the method you should use when shading your first major project.

Due Monday September 12: Do the same drawing as the last homework BUT use seven objects. Focus on what we talked about at the beginning of class. Make it better.

Due Wednesday: Five compositional studies of object for first major project.
