- Watch these portrait tutorials:
- Look over Final Projects and choose one to focus on. Do sketches for the weekend. Due 4/20
- Portrait of your peer Due today
Wednesday 4/15
- Self portrait study focusing on facial structure due 4/15. Use a complimentary palette. Any medium acceptable although pastels are a good learning tool.
When using a complimentary palette, make sure you use a lot of mixtures of the two colors, by layering the materials. Pastels mix like paints, but they do it directly on the surface you are drawing, not on the side, so it will take a few layers before you can see the color you have. They also erase easily.

- Next week is scheduled to be a "in class" work week. I will set Zoom meetings on Monday 4/20 between 12 and 2:20 to discuss project plans, please send sketches and have thoughts this before meeting.
