Foundation SketchBook

All Foundation classes participate in the Foundation SketchBook, a journal of the first year experience. You must complete the assignments for each course as part of your final evaluation. Sketchbooks will be bound in 2D Foundation Principles late in the semester.
All due dates for the sketchbook are listed in red below.

Themes:

1. Pick and research an artist, present for approval by Wed Jan 30, create master copies of the artist's work (check class blog for master copy examples) use black and white only

2. Create in depth drawings based on master studies from the previous Signature, also use a palette that explores temperature

3. Create in depth drawings based on master studies exploring a full color palette and mixed media
